1. Introduction

Zizou & Miro World is committed to protecting the privacy of children and families who use our platform. This Privacy Policy describes what information we currently collect, how we use it, and what we do not yet collect while certain features remain unavailable.

We take children's privacy seriously and intend to comply with applicable laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), before enabling any child enrollment or data collection features.

2. What We Currently Collect

At this time, the website collects only the following information:

• Contact form submissions: When you use the contact form on the Parents page, we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry. It is transmitted to our team via an email delivery service. We do not store contact form submissions in our own application database.
• Authentication session cookies: If you log in to a parent, teacher, or admin account, the website sets a session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is necessary for the service to function and is not used for advertising or tracking.
• No analytics or tracking: We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other behavioural tracking tools. We do not collect data about which pages you visit or which activities you complete.

3. What We Do Not Currently Collect

The following features are not yet active. We do not collect this information at this time:

• Child profile information: Kids Academy enrollment is currently disabled. We do not collect children's names, ages, or any other profile data.
• Payment information: Subscription payments and billing are not currently available. No payment data is processed or stored.
• Usage and progress data: Activity completion, learning progress, and certificate records are not currently collected from the public.

4. External Services

Our Watch page links to videos hosted on YouTube (operated by Google LLC). Video thumbnails are not loaded from YouTube servers — we display a local placeholder instead. When you choose to play a video, it loads using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain (youtube-nocookie.com), which is designed to reduce data collection. Even with this domain, YouTube may still collect limited data once you interact with the player, in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. We recommend reviewing YouTube's Privacy Policy at youtube.com/t/privacy. We do not control YouTube's data practices.

When Kids Academy launches in the future, subscription payments will be processed by Stripe, Inc. At that time, Stripe will handle payment card data directly and we will not store card numbers. We will update this policy before enabling payments.

5. Children's Privacy

Our content is intended for children ages 3 to 10, but this website is operated by and for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Child enrollment and profile creation are currently disabled. When this feature launches, it will require verified parental consent before any child information is collected, in accordance with COPPA and applicable law.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Contact form submissions are delivered to our team by our email service provider and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all connections to this website. Passwords for registered accounts are stored using secure hashing. We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the contact form, but no internet transmission is completely secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will update this Privacy Policy before enabling new data collection features such as child enrollment or subscription payments. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
